Ingredients

For the Wraps
  • 1 rotisserie chicken shredded
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce or more, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 large flour tortillas warmed
For the Creamy Slaw
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage mix
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
Optional Garnishes
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons sliced green onions

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the shredded rotisserie chicken, buffalo sauce, and melted butter. Stir until the chicken is evenly coated.
  2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lime juice, salt, and pepper for the creamy slaw. Add the shredded cabbage mix and chopped cilantro, then toss to combine.
  3. Warm the flour tortillas according to package directions. This can be done in a dry skillet, microwave, or oven.
  4. Assemble the wraps: Lay a warm tortilla flat. Spoon a generous portion of the buffalo chicken mixture onto the center of the tortilla. Top with the creamy slaw.
  5. Add any optional garnishes like crumbled blue cheese and sliced green onions.
  6. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then tightly roll it up from the bottom to create your wrap. Slice in half if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes

These wraps are best enjoyed fresh. If you have leftovers, store the chicken and slaw separately and assemble just before eating to prevent the tortillas from becoming soggy.
