- In a bowl, combine the chicken cubes with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat the chicken evenly.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill the chicken skewers for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
- While the chicken is grilling, prepare the garlic yogurt sauce. In a small bowl, mix together the plain yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped mint (if using), and salt.
- Serve the smoky chicken skewers immediately with the garlic yogurt sauce on the side.
Notes
You can soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before use to prevent burning.
