Method
- In a large bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Remove chicken from marinade and discard the remaining marinade.
- Place drumsticks on the preheated grill. Grill for 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally with tongs, until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, you can baste the drumsticks with any accumulated juices on the grill during the last few minutes of cooking.
