Breakfast Club Sandwich

A hearty and flavorful breakfast sandwich perfect for busy mornings. This recipe combines toasted bread, creamy mayonnaise, fresh lettuce and tomato, deli meats, cheese, and crispy bacon for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich
  • 3 slices wheat bread or bread of choice
  • 2 Tablespoons mayonnaise Duke’s, Hellmann’s or Trader Joe’s recommended
  • lettuce
  • tomato slices
  • salt and pepper to taste, for tomatoes
  • 2 ounces sliced deli ham
  • 2 ounces sliced turkey
  • 2 slices bacon cooked
  • 1 slice Colby jack cheese or cheese of choice

Equipment

  • Toaster
  • Knife
  • Toothpicks

Method
 

  1. Toast your bread, if you wish, and let it cool for a few minutes. This helps prevent wilted lettuce.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on 3 pieces of cooled toast.
  3. On one slice, add lettuce and tomato. Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper.
  4. Place a second piece of bread, mayonnaise side down, on top of the first slice. Add more mayonnaise to the top of this second piece.
  5. Stack the ham, turkey, bacon, and cheese on the second piece of bread. Top with the last slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  6. Use a sharp knife to cut the sandwich into triangles. Use toothpicks to hold the layers together.
  7. Turn the sandwich on its side to display the layers.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

This sandwich is best served immediately after preparation.
